This bumbag is an original Mikan creation, handcrafted in my studio, recycling vintage obi fabric.

The original obi was silk-screen printed on a silk base. The finish is matte silver. You can read more details about the original obi, here.

The motif represents a typical countryside landscape, a hut surrounded by a garden full of different flowers. The graphics of this print, and particularly the strong contrast and the waves of the water, are reminiscent of traditional Okinawan fabrics: bingata.
