This beautiful fabric mixes silk thread and lamé which gives it an exquisite shine. It is similar to those used for Obi and the same craftsmen often weave them.
It was originally designed to be worn with a kimono. I believe its timeless beauty can be enjoyed with any outfit.
The motif represents Seigaiha, a traditional pattern representing waves.
