Dance paper fan - Plum blossoms silver

This paper fan is designed for traditional dancing but can also be appreciated as a decorative object.
It is covered with a silver background decorated with delicate branches of a plum tree in bloom. All elements are handpainted identically on both faces of the object.
The bamboo structure and entirely covered with red lacquer, which is not very common. Such pieces are usually covered with black lacquer or not covered to appreciate the natural bamboo colour.
A piece of lean is encrusted in the bamboo slats on each side, giving the dancer a better sensation when holding the fan during the performance. Since it is also covered with lacquer, it is not really visible.

Condition
Used. The paper is in good condition (no big scratch or crease) but the colours are a bit darkened due to use (on le left and right ends). Taking these aspects into consideration, the price is lower than other similar items in great condition.
