Glittering storm (sold out)
Motif
It is the capricious Nature that has shaped the landscape of Japan over the millennia, and it is deeply rooted in Japanese culture that danger and beauty often work together. When I saw this obi, it reminded me of this fascinating aspect of Japan. As a tribute to almighty Nature, this fabric features the most party-like colour combination, representing an agitated sea hitting on the rocks of the coast. The beautiful and fierce waves resemble those of famous ukiyo-e paintings.
This brocade is made of several hues of gold and silver lamé are woven together with black silk.
