Temple garden & Kotsuzumi

Motif and details

The motif is composed of twos different sections. One features natural elements, pine and a plum trees in bloom in a garden. The traditional building behind the pine branches reminds me of an old temple. A second section of the motif represents a gold dancing fan and aKotsuzumi, a traditional hand drum. While the first section evoques a peaceful and quiet landscape, the is very festive.

Composition: silk and guilded washi paper

When ordering a Phone bag or a Bumbag, you can choose the details of the motif you would like to feature on your bag. A bigger design like the Computer bag or the Weekender will allow the entire motif to show.

This bumbag features a similar pine motif from the fabric Takara, also available here.
