Shape a bag with Japanese vintage fabrics
What you’ll do
I will welcome you in one of my studio in Arashiyama. You will choose your favourite fabric from a selection of antique Japanese kimono and obi and we will start the process together. Once we shape all the details ( for example how to frame the exact part of the motif that you want), I will create your bag according to your wishes while you carry on your Kyoto adventures. Your custom-made bag will arrive at your hotel during your stay or after you return home from Japan.

Price
The price depends on the bag design ( you can see them below). An extra cost for shipping is required, whether it will be sent during your trip to Japan or once you are back home. I will discuss details with you and confirm shipping cost at the time of booking. If several participants join together, it is possible to combine shipping cost. Special sessions at a Buddhist temple - Oct. 19th to 28th
If you book a session between those dates, the workshop will exceptionally be hosted at Horenji Temple. This is NOT in Arashiyama but closer to the city center. Prices and times remain the same. You can still visit Arashiyama after the experience by taking the tramway at Shijo-Omiya station (12 min walk from the temple).

Origami Clutch
It will embellish your outfit the same way a piece of jewellery would. Bringing a touch of light and sophistication.
Sturdy but lightweight, it allows you to keep all your essentials within reach comfortably. The chain is removable and the colour can be customized during the workshop.

It is quite roomy compared to most phone bags. On top of your phone, it can easily contain items such as a small wallet, coin pouch, notebook (A6 and smaller), passport, sunglasses, etc. The bag elements can be black or off-white. This item is also available in my store.
