This obi represents the famous Arashiyam bamboo grove. If you visit it during the winter, you will be able to see camellias in bloom among the bamboo trees, just like on this obi.

This jacquard obi is woven of silk threads. The background is a satin off-white and the trees are woven in vibrant blue, green and orange threads.
